The Holland Reunion is August 8 this year.

The Holland reunion will be held on Saturday, August 8 at the Allison Chapel on the Henderson Highway (US 75) on the same side of the road as the Fairplay store, sitting further East towards Carthage. People begin to gather around 10:30 AM and a pot-luck meal is served at Noon. Pot-luck means you bring a dish of food and share it with others. Martha Melton is the program chair, this year her email is cheshirea@sbcglobal.net and her phone # is 903-690-0642 for futher details.

Please share this information with your branch of the family, since the traditional date has been the first Saturday of August. The date moved to permit Holland family members from Tennessee to attend this year. If you have Holland Family Scapebook pages for Bev Shepard's Holland History Scrapebook, this is the year to attend and bring them for her. She is planning to attend.

My personal goal was to have this blog up for Dad's histories by Father's Day and to have my sister Mary's history DVD as a handout for the next Reunion and those two things are done. My school teaching has ended for the academic year, but I have fallen behind on my fence mending at Fairplay. It will be a busy summer for me.
